The goal was to create an intimate portrait of Wim Hof that moved beyond headlines and world records to explore the principles that underpin his philosophy. The challenge was to present both the scale of his achievements and the humanity behind them.

The film combines observational documentary storytelling with reflective interviews, allowing Wim’s personality and perspective to shape the narrative. By placing him within the environments most closely associated with his practice, the story creates a tangible connection between his philosophy and the physical experiences that define it.

Filmed in sub-zero conditions, the production presented unique technical and logistical challenges for both crew and equipment. Working within extreme environments required careful planning while also creating an opportunity to visually reinforce the themes of resilience and human potential that sit at the heart of Wim’s story. The result is a cinematic portrait that feels both intimate and visually powerful.
