The objective was to create a portrait of Alexey that explored the deeper motivations behind his extraordinary accomplishments. Rather than focusing solely on competition and performance, the film sought to reveal the relationship between the athlete, the ocean, and the personal journey that connects them.

The production embraced an observational documentary style, allowing Serdar’s routines, reflections, and interactions with his environment to drive the narrative. Rather than relying on explanation alone, the film uses imagery, atmosphere, and lived experience to immerse audiences in his world.

Working within challenging marine environments, the crew captured a range of cinematic sequences that place viewers directly within Alexey’s world while maintaining the intimate and reflective tone that defines the film.
